The focus of Globaltech Downunder® is in the Mining, Oil & Gas and Construction. In particular Globaltech Downunder specialises in the development and distribution of Borehole Survey Systems for these industries that can be used by drillers, geologists and 3-D exploration imaging services and software.
The Technology Platform: Globaltech's technologies are fully designed, developed and manufactured in Australia by Globaltech. Globaltech's borehole survey systems are driven by a solid-state digital device that is capable of very fast and accurate measurements and capture of raw data such as the earth magnetic orthogonal vectors and gravity orthogonal vectors in any particular point in time and in any place on or under the earth surface. The combination of multi and fast data capture, and the small physical size of the device makes it an ideal platform for many other applications beyond exploration.
Unique Calibration Facility: In order for Globaltech to develop the base technology driving the Pathfinder series, Globaltech developed a unique calibration site in Western Australia that was verified independently. This allows Globaltech to continue developing and enhancing its products to meet new demands. It also allows Globaltech to service its products and verify and certify the accuracy of 3rd party and older products thus providing the customer with the vital information with regards to new and old tools that they may be using and confirming whether such tools can be relied upon or not.
